VISION STATEMENT

Who is Noel Boer Goats?  Noel Boer Goats is located in the Northeast corner of Arkansas near the foot of Crowley's Ridge.  Greene County is predominently row crop farm country along with various livestock operations.  We are located 90 miles Northwest of Memphis, TN., and 8 miles from the Bootheel of Missouri in Paragould, Arkansas. 

We began our livestock experience in 1991 raising Polypay sheep for the production of wool and meat.  Today we still maintain a small flock for our personal consumption.  We researched the Boer Goat industry for several years and purchased our first goats in 2004 consisting of two American Purebred does and our foundation sire, an Eggsfile grandson.

At our current location, we operate as Noel Boer Goats and Emelja Ranch, which is our son's operation.  The two herds are maintained at one location.  We now have 24 breeding does and 3 herd sires along with 3 yearling bucks, as seen on the For Sale page, and the Spring kid crop, some of which also appear on the For Sale page.

We are members of the American Boer Goat Association.  Our herd consists of registered Fullblood and American Purebred stock. 

Acknowledgments:   One of the many pleasures we have found in raising Boer Goats is the networking and developing of relationships with the many fine people involved in the industry.  We would like to especially acknowledge Barry, Linda and David Carwell of Carwell Boer Goat Ranch for being a source of high quality animals, invaluable advice and encouragement, exemplifing the highest integrity and reliability as Boer Goat producers.  Others who have been involved in our development are Jack Williams of JSJ Boer Goats from whom we purchased our herd sire, Masterpiece, and Bennie Mitchell of Diamond M Ranch, from whom we purchased a couple of our Pyrenees dogs.

Goals:  Our main goal is to breed a high quality animal of good breeding stock with show qualities.  As we grow, our chief goal is to continuously upgrade the quality of our animals and to be a reliable producer.

Our future plans are to continue our present endeavor but also expand into a commercial herd providing quality goats for the market and show ring.  Our herd sire, Bubba, will be used in this program.  As you can see from his photo under Herd Sires, this magnificant red buck carries muscle on a large frame and is quite capable of this role.
